Returns
As we understand that not everyone opens their packages the moment they receive them, we accept authorized returns within 30 calendar days from the date the product was received by the buyer or original recipient unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
To facilitate this, all authorized returns must be unused and in their original condition, including all items and components that were included in the original package. Items being returned must not have been modified or changed in any way, or damaged due to incorrect installation or by error of the user. Chimera will not be held responsible for installation or labour expenses, additional repair expenses, rental car expenses or any other related expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.
If you received your shipment with damages or with an incorrect item, please repackage the item(s) in the original shipping container and return to Chimera immediately.
Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. If you receive missing, damaged, or incorrect parts, please contact us immediately at autopartschimera@gmail.com so we can assist you in processing a return for replacement or refund. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 calendar days for all products, regardless of the party at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all such claims must be processed through the shipping company.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges
Chimera only exchanges goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at autopartschimera@gmail.com with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to the return address indicated on the original packaging.
Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will happily send you a replacement product.
Exceptions
Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable due to the nature of those items. These include:
- Service Manuals (unless sealed)
- Special-order products
- Custom-made products
- Painted parts
- Parts that have been modified
NOTE: Electrical parts are also not returnable if they have been plugged in or unsealed for any reason.
Shipping
To return the item you purchased, please mail it to the return address indicated on the original packaging.
Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
Refund or Exchange
After we receive your package, we'll process your refund or exchange immediately. You can expect to see the refund, less any applicable restocking fees, credited within 3-10 business days, to the payment method that you used when you originally placed your order. If you requested an exchange, we will ship your replacement promptly upon receipt of your returned item.
